Where our prices come from, how they get their date, and when they leave the site.
Every price comes from the venue itself: a photographed menu, the venue’s website, its QR menu, or a menu the venue published on a listings platform. Delivery apps are never a source - their prices carry a markup and are not what you pay at the table.
A price keeps the date of the menu it was read from - when the photo was taken or when the venue last updated its menu online. Not the date we processed it. When two menus disagree, the newer one wins.
Anything older than two years leaves the site. A small "as of <year>" next to a price means it comes from an older menu; rows without it are current.
Wrong price? Menu we don’t have? Hit "Tell us something" or send a photo of the menu. A fresh photo beats whatever we had.
No delivery prices. No ratings of our own - the stars link straight to Google, Yandex, RestaurantGuru and TripAdvisor. No paid placement, no affiliate links, no login, no paywall.
